Trello is a popular web-based project management application. If your team uses Trello, you can easily bring Marketo notifications into your workflow. This post will show you how to add a card with a Marketo notification to your Trello board.

This card will be added when a specific lead activity happens in Marketo. Potential use cases include notifying your entire team about a form fill, a visit to a pricing page, or a lead that has not been contacted in 30 days.

Step One: Login into Trello. Navigate to the Trello board that will add Marketo notifications in. Click Add a List, and then name it.

Step Six: Click Edit Draft for the email you created in Step Five. Drag the relevant tokens you would like to show in your Trello card.

The subject line of the Marketo email will appear in the title of the Trello card, and the body of the Marketo email will appear in the description of the Trello card. For example, you can use “LEAD ALERT: {{lead.First Name:default=edit me}} {{lead.Last Name:default=edit me}}” if you want the lead’s first and last name to be in the title of the Trello card.

Then approve the email.
